Roswell Touch-A-Truck Event on May 14

 Roswell Touch-a-Truck

The City of Roswell will host a free Touch-A-Truck event on Saturday, May 14 from 9:30 AM – 12:00 PM  to kick off National Public Works Week, which runs from May 15-21, 2016. The event will take place at Roswell City Hall, located at 38 Hill Street, Roswell, Georgia 30075.

Touch-A-Truck provides the opportunity for citizens of all ages to see firsthand the equipment used to provide necessary services to their families. Children and adults alike will explore the mysterious workings of the street sweeper, learn how the sanitation trucks work, and get an up-close look at a variety of public works, transportation, fire and police vehicles.

National Public Works Week honors the men and women who work in Community Development, Transportation, Public Works/Environmental, and Building Operations. This year’s theme is “Public Works Always There.”
