Roswell is the first city in Georgia to achieve Bicycle Friendly Community status with the League of American Bicyclists. This coveted designation is only awarded to cities that have demonstrated their commitment to all aspects of cycling. In 2006, Roswell, Georgia was awarded the designation of “Bicycle Friendly Community” with the League of American Bicyclists. Roswell Bicycles with Bike Roswell! and RAMBO is proud to bring you a week-long festival of cycling activities in Roswell, GA! Bigger and better than ever this year! The 2016 Roswell Cycling Festival features a full week of bicycle related activities beginning on May 7th and culminating on May 15th.
A full week of cycling events and activities! The 2016 Roswell Cycling Festival presented by Roswell Bicycles include a variety of activities for the entire family over multiple days. The 2016 Roswell Cycling Festival will feature off-road bicycle events to compliment the road races, which attract top male, female and junior cyclists from across the United States begins on May 7th with one or two events per day, culminating on May 15th with the Roswell Bicycles-Scott Mayor’s Ride, Hennessy Roswell Criterium and Craft Beer Festival, the Historic Roswell Kiwanis Kid’s Bicycle Safety Rodeo, and Kid’s Criterium Race. A great week of events to get out and explore Roswell.

A Bicycle Friendly Community welcomes cyclists by providing safe accommodation for cycling and encouraging people to bike for transportation and recreation. Roswell became the first city in Georgia to receive this coveted title. This accomplishment was achieved by the City of Roswell (elected officials and city staff) and Bike Roswell! members working closely together toward one goal – Bicycle Friendly Community status.
