Yesterday, a friend of mine who also lives in Terramont subdivision asked me if I would like to join him and his dog at the Roswell dog park. I assumed he was referring to the Mountain Park dog park, however he went on to mention the park being just a couple stoplights away from our neighborhood. This prompted me to question him about which park he was referring to.
As it turns out, there is a dog park on the east side of Roswell. If you are heading down Holcomb Bridge road towards Norcross, you will make a right turn at Fouts Road (just after Eves Road), the second or third driveway on the right is where you’ll want to turn. The entrance is a gravel road with no sign marking the dog park so you’ll need to be alert.
The dog park is quite large with a fenced in area for both large and small dogs to mingle. The day I went up to the park with Charlie I’d guess there were between 15-20 dogs at the park and around 10-15 people…everyone was being very social and talking with one another. I even met another neighbor from the subdivision there! It was really a great time spent at a place close to home…another reason why Roswell is such a great place to live!
