Barrington Gates is a fairly new subdivision of 23 homes, established in 1997, and arranged in a comfortable cul-de-sac setting. The homes reflect the Charleston architecture of the Historic Roswell District they reside in, and because they are built on small plots of land, yard work and lawn maintenance are kept to a minimum. The name of the subdivision comes from the proximity to Barrington Hall- a very historic Roswell building built by the co-founder of Roswell, Barrington King, in 1842.

Barrington Gates are in a fun location with close proximity to Roswell Square and the Roswell Mill and there is a relatively easy 5-10 minute walk to several restaraunts, shops and churches.  Residents attend the following schools: Roswell (Elementary), Crabapple (Middle), and Roswell (High).
