The possum is running for the 38th time on Saturday, June 18, 2016 to benefit the Chattahoochee Nature Center! The Possum Trot 10K race is an amazing race on a smooth, certified course with scenic views of the Chattahoochee River, and the event features both a 10K race and a 1 mile fun run. The 10K race begins at 7:00 AM, with the 1 mile Fun Run following at 7:05 AM.
Discounted registration rate of $30 if you register by June 15th. Onsite registration is $40 for the 10K and $15 for the One Mile Fun Run. All participants receive race number with chip time; FREE admission to CNC ALL DAY race day; Post-race party; T-shirt; Great swag in a re-usable race bag!
Post Race festivities and awards presentations take place in the Ben Brady Lakeside Pavilion with free admission to the Chattahoochee Nature Center included. This is one of the best qualifier races for the 2016 Peachtree Road Race as it is mostly a flat course that can be completed with a fast pace. All proceeds benefit the Chattahoochee Nature Center.
Allow time to walk from St. Francis School parking lot on Willeo Road at Azalea.
Overall and Masters Male and Female finishers in 13 age groups receive awards at the ceremony held at the conclusion of the race.
