Butterfly Sidewalk Art – Butterflies provide the perfect inspiration for our on-going art project. Create a “butterfly path” from the Ben Brady Lakeside Pavilion all the way to the “fairy village!”

Butterfly Plant Sale – Find the perfect host plants and nectar plants to take home to your garden to attract butterflies to your backyard! CNC Horticulture volunteers will be on-hand at the plant sale and in the butterfly garden to answer your questions about how to attract butterflies and other pollinators to your yard!

Kids can wear their butterfly costumes. Pollinator and host plants will be on sale for garden enthusiasts. Food trucks will sell snacks on site.

The popularity of the expanded “Butterfly Encounter” tented exhibit will provide visitors a close up experience to hand-feed hundreds of free flying butterflies.  This is the perfect place to get expert advice about the best pollinator and host plants to attract butterflies, hummingbirds and other pollinators to your own garden.  Witness nature’s marvelous pollinators and enjoy the show as butterflies land on people and flowers at each release.
